Letter to a portraitist, 1814.

Rostopchin informs the painter who is making his portrait that a swelling on his cheek does not allow him to come to his studio, and asks for another one-hour appointment. The letter is signed "Comte Rostopshine," and addressed to Monsieur Bailly (presumably the portraitist Alexandre Bailly).
